Invariance for multiples of the twisted canonical bundle

Abstract: Abstract. -Let X −→ ∆ a smooth projective family and (L, h) a pseudoeffective line bundle on X (i.e. with a non-negative curvature current ΘhL). In its works on invariance of plurigenera, Y.-T. Siu was interested in extending sections of mK X 0 + L (defined over the central fiber of the family X 0 ) to sections of mK X + L. In this article we consider the following problem: to extend sections of m(K X + L). More precisely, we show the following result: assuming the triviality of the multiplier ideal sheaf I(X … Show more

“…The above theorem is a strong generalization of similar results available in the literature (see for example [Siu98], [Siu00], [Takayama06], [Takayama07], [HM07], [Paun07], [Claudon07], [EP07], [dFH09], [Var08], [Paun08], [Tsuji05], [HM10], [BP10]). The main and important difference is that we do not require any strict positivity from B.…”

“…Siu's work also gives strong support for the hope that (i) can be solved by a suitable combination of the L 2 existence theorems (Skoda's division theorem being one of the main ingredients). The following is a very slight extension of results by M. Pǎun [52] and B. Claudon [9], which are themselves based on the ideas of Y.T. Siu [59] and S. Takayama [62].…”
