Inverse impedance identification using an efficient BEM strategy
D. Panagiotopoulos,

Abstract:Limited accessibility often restricts the possibility of directly measuring the true acoustic properties of existing components. In that context, this paper investigates a hybrid approach for the inverse identification of the acoustic impedance of components, by combining microphone measurements with highly efficient acoustic Boundary Element Method (BEM) models. The modeling efficiency, achieved through a parametric model order reduction (pMOR) technique for BEM models [1], facilitates the fast transition amo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
