“…Gravity anomaly computations were conducted on this regular network with a distance of one kilometer. Subsequently, a map with a distance of one miligal (mGal) was provided (Hosseini et al, 2013;Hosseini et al, 2014;Kianoush et al, 2023;Shakiba et al, 2018). The edge detection approaches comprise an analytic signal, a total horizontal derivative of tilt angle, normalized standard deviation, total horizontal derivative, theta angle, tilt angle, normalized total horizontal gradient, and hyperbolic of tilt angle.…”

“…This new inverted model parameters approach mainly used the analytical signal of the gravity anomaly profile data. A new approach to the inversion of gravity data utilizing the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm were applied to three synthetic data sets (residual only with and without noise, residual plus regional, and residual plus anomaly generated by a buried cylinder structure), and two field gravity data sets acquired across known faults in Egypt (Abdelrahman & Essa, 2015;Anderson et al, 2020;Essa & Géraud, 2020;Kianoush et al, 2023). Furthermore, a new fast inversion algorithm was performed to prospect the gravity anomaly profiles, like evaluating the depth, amplitude coefficient, and shape parameter of target structures for simple geometric bodies.…”

“…The fractal method has remarkable accuracy in anomaly separation from the background comparing to conventional methods. The selection of a method for specifying geochemical anomalies depends on the distribution pattern of the data and elemental concentration in rocks and sediments (Abedi-Orang et al, 2020;Kianoush et al, 2023;Li et al, 2003). The best advantage of Correspondence analysis is the flexibility in terms of data requirements, which allows for geoscience knowledge incorporation.…”
