Inversión responsable en procesos de sustitución de cultivos ilícitos desde el modelo “Trabajando con Personas”: estudio de caso Guaviare (Colombia)

Abstract

The Principles for responsible investment in agriculture and food systems CSA-RAI contribute to sustainable development from a proposal with a comprehensive approach, agreed internationally and aimed at strengthening food security and are presented as a useful tool for achieving the SDGs The problem of illicit crops has important negative repercussions on peace, security, the environment, and development. In Colombia, with the signing of the peace agreement, this scourge has been combated, however, the problem persists. This research takes a case study in Guaviare, a region of high social complexity, affected by the armed conflict. In this context, a methodology for the implementation of the CSA-RAI Principles is proposed from the WWP model based on four phases from the work with beneficiaries of the Comprehensive National Program for the Substitution of crops for illicit use. The results show the phases of the implementation process of the principles as a support tool for the actors involved in the transformation of affected regions to improve the livelihoods of families. In addition, the legalization of property, food security and economic development are prioritized as pillars for territorial transformation.
