Inverted Exponentiated Gamma and its bivariate extension

Abstract: In this paper, a new distribution called Inverted Exponentiated Gamma (IEG) distribution is introduced. Also, the statistical properties of this model are studied, such as, quantiles, moments and moments of order statistics, maximum likelihood estimators of it's parameters are discussed.
