Abstract:Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis remains a critical global public health concern due to the high morbidity and mortality rates. Mutation in atpE and Rv0678 genes contributes to drug resistance in M. tuberculosis.
