Investigation on the performance between standard and high efficiency induction machines operating as self-excited induction generators feeding the non-linear loads
Abstract:This paper proposes the investigation on the performance between standard and high efficiency induction machines operating as SEIG feeding the nonlinear loads having same rating of 3 phase, 2.2 kW, 220/380 V, 4 poles. Consideration of capacitance for the SEIG based on equivalent circuit model under steady-state load conditions and a power flow diagram is given. The interpretation of experimental results can be guidelines for effective design and development of SEIG with DC supply for wind energy applications.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
