Abstract: Silicon carbon nitride (SiCN) ternary compounds present remarkable mechanical strength, bandgap tunability, optical responsivity in the UV region, and dielectric performance in microelectronics due to the combined features of silicon nitride (SiN), silicon carbide (SiC), and carbonitride (CN) [1].
