Abstract:Graphene field-effect transistors (GFETs) present beneficial features for their application as biomolecular or chemical sensors. Due to their atomically-thin 2D dimensionality, their high electrical conductance is particularly sensitive to small changes in the distribution of charged species near the graphene surface. Taking advantage of this property, GFET sensors have been designed to report the detection or quantitation of various types of biologically-relevant molecular analytes such as nucleic acids, prot… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
