Ion partitioning effect on the electrostatic interaction between two charged soft surfaces

Abstract: We theoretically investigate electrostatic properties between two charged surfaces with a grafted polyelectrolyte layer in an aqueous electrolyte solution by using the Poisson-Boltzmann approach accounting for ion partitioning.
