IoT Architecture based on Information Flow Diagram for Vermiculture Smart Farming Kit

Abstract: IoT technology is widely applied to many areas, including agriculture. The smart farming design and implementation deal with farm operations and management effectively. The aim of this research enables supporting a vermiculture smart farming kit based on IoT technology. The layered architecture design is represented to support the deployment of sensors, networks, monitoring systems, data collections, and watering decision system. Information flow diagram is proposed to improve how the web application of our sm… Show more

“…In recent years, there have been considerable advances in IoT research. Incorporating IoT technology into biometric recognition systems enables real-time monitoring and remote system access [3], increasing system accessibility and flexibility. Moreover, IoT technology can improve the accuracy and efficiency [4] of biometric recognition systems by enabling the integration of several biometric modalities, such as facial recognition and fingerprint identification [5].…”

“…As depicted in Figure 7, the information flow diagram (IFD) of the explicit criteria graduate recommender system is designed to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience for identifying suitable graduate programs. The principles of IFD novelty deliver a unified visual representation of system architecture, data and information flow, processes, database systems, user interfaces, and user interaction with the system [89][90][91][92] that can be used to describe the entire related design and development in this study. The system design can perform up to any number of criteria selections.…”

“…Similarly, technological development today is one of the greatest sources of wealth for nations, as long as it is applied to the service of solutions to social, economic, and environmental problems [14][15][16]. In addition, the Internet of Things (IoT) represents a potential system to collect information in agriculture situations in real time [17][18][19][20][21]. In this sense, the IoT system continuously monitors and maintains the necessary parameters at optimal levels, reducing the need for human involvement in the process of vermicomposting [22].…”
