Ir-catalyzed reductive amination and transfer hydrogenation of diketones: access to β- and γ-amino alcohols

Abstract

A mild protocol for the construction of β-and γ-amino alcohols via an iridium-catalyzes reductive amination and transfer hydrogenation of diketones with aromatic amines is described.
