“…Por esto es importante confirmar el diagnóstico de BIE con exámenes clínicos, ya que los síntomas de forma aislada tienen baja sensibilidad y especificidad (5,37). Considerando estos motivos se postula evaluar activamente a los atletas para detectar BIE, utilizando pruebas de provocación bronquial, independientemente de la presencia de síntomas respiratorios en ejercicio (38).
