Abstract: Objective: The Chronic Kidney Disease Epidemiology Collaboration (CKD-EPI) equation is more effective at estimating glomerular filtration rate (GFR) than the Modification of Diet in Renal Disease (MDRD) equation, particularly in patients with mildly impaired renal function.
