Is There a Supporting Value of Platelet Distribution Width and Plateletcrit in the Diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis in Children?

Abstract: This study was designed to investigate the diagnostic value of platelet distribution width (PDW) and plateletcrit (PCT) for acute appendicitis in childhood. A retrospective review was conducted of the records of 373 patients younger than 18 years who underwent appendectomy.
