Ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation – do we need to treat with statins?

Abstract: The relationship of dyslipidemia with atrial fibrillation (AF)-related stroke is not clear. The question whether patients with AF-related stroke should receive lipid lowering agents unanimously remains unanswered.
