Isolated Cranial Nerve VI Palsy and Neurosyphilis: A Case Report and Review of Related Literature

Abstract: Highlights Isolated cranial nerve VI neuritis can be a manifestation of neurosyphilis. Isolated craniopathies can be from infections aside from the usual ischemic or neoplastic causes. In a person with relevant risk factors, work-up for occult infections is warranted.
