Abstract: Microorganisms produce copious macromolecules, many of which harbor tremendous biotechnological potential. One such macromolecule is polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA). It is a key substance formed as inclusion bodies by bacteria to accumulate, and reserve growth materials while confronting various stress conditions.
