Abstract:Bubble pressure data for the system of hexafluoroethane and n-octane were measured at four temperatures in the range of (292.9 to 323.4) K and at pressures of up to 5.6 MPa. These isothermal P−x data were measured using a variable-volume static-synthetic apparatus. The Peng−Robinson Equation of State modified with the Mathias−Copeman alpha function coupled to the Wong− Sandler mixing rule was used to model the experimental data. The nonrandom two-liquid activity coefficient model was used to model the excess G… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
