Purpose In today’s digital age, technology is advancing at an unprecedented pace, and businesses that fail to keep up risk falling behind their competitors. This requires not only investing in technological resources but also creating a culture that values and encourages women in technological learning and innovation in the tourism and hospitality sector. This study aims to investigate the consequences of organizational learning on firm innovation directly and indirectly with cultural and technological perspectives. Design/methodology/approach The study carries out a quantitative approach, and data is collected from 398 women entrepreneurs from Thailand’s tourism and hospitality sectors. The statistical software Smart-PLS was used to analyze the data. Findings The findings revealed that organizational learning (the learning orientation and learning process) significantly influence firm innovation and organizational culture. Organizational culture also significantly mediates learning orientation, learning process and firm innovation, while learning leadership was found to be insignificant in relationship with organizational culture and firm innovation. However, technological knowledge has a significant moderating influence between organizational culture and firm innovation. Originality/value This study’s focus on the role of learning practices among women-owned small medium enterprises is a valuable contribution to the literature on innovation and entrepreneurship. These provided dimensions that can be helpful for women entrepreneurs to enhance firm innovation. The study shed light on the importance of diverse kinds of learning practices that change the patterns of innovation. This study also provides directions to practitioners to develop and implement business innovation strategies from women’s perspectives.

The study investigated the capabilities of management information systems and the performance of ship building industry in Kenya. The study employed a quantitative approach by use of questionnaires to collect data on the variables. The reliability of the data collection instrument was measured using Cronbach's Alpha and the pilot test was carried out at Kenya Shipyards Limited. The study established that Centralized Database significantly influence Performance of Ship Building Industry (β=0.253; p=0.010). Furthermore, it was found that Service Delivery significantly improves Performance of Ship Building Industry (β=0.174; p=0.045). Moreover, it was observed that Information Security significantly impacted Performance of Ship Building Industry (β=0.248; p=0.008). Finally, it was revealed that Digital Infrastructure significantly impacts performance of Ship Building Industry (β=0.345; p=0.000). The study concludes that since a centralized database provides accurate and timely access to data from every division, it is considered essential for managing the operations of the company. Secondly, a company's ability to stay relevant depends on having efficient corporate information systems in place. That is why one of the most important measures of a company's efficacy is how fast it can fix everyday issues. Thirdly, businesses must put in place a variety of information security measures and create strategies to guard their data from threats if they hope to stay competitive. Finally, an ICT infrastructure is necessary for a business to operate efficiently. Thus, when information technology infrastructure is not properly deployed in the company, it may hinder business operations. The study recommended that a system audit be conducted on a regular basis to verify that the company's data management system is configured and operating as intended to support management goals. It is suggested that businesses spend more on cyber security in order to stay competitive, as organizations with strong network security systems are believed to be less vulnerable to data theft and sabotage. Finally, businesses gain from e-business because it gives them the opportunity to access clients at a fair price and without being restricted by geographic location. Establishing contemporary e-business protocols in this area can help businesses perform better as an organization.

enhances employee satisfaction, contributing to overall operational success (Ma, Lee, Teoh, & Ling, 2021).The advent of Industry Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) has accelerated the automation and IT innovation, whereby cloud technology has emerged as a significant innovation. Cloud Accounting Information Systems (CAIS) have become critical tools for businesses, offering on-demand information accessibility via the internet (Gunanta, Hadian, Marwata, & Saudi, 2020). The adoption of CAIS is driven by several factors such as the benefits it brings to businesses, technological demand, regulatory requirements, and the influence of the younger generation (MIA, 2019). The use of CAIS in the accounting sector plays a crucial role in minimising data breaches and fraud, as well as enhancing audit quality and compliance (Thuan et al., 2022).The accounting sector's transformation, driven by the use of automation and digital tools, has reshaped the roles of accountants and revenue streams for small enterprises. The adoption of software and subscription services has resulted in the optimisation of data collection, organisation, and tasks like bank reconciliation, hence impacting the efficiency of both large and small firms (AOB, 2021). The audit industry in Malaysia has witnessed notable changes, which are marked by a decrease in the number of audit firms and a simultaneous increase in the registration of individual auditors. The COVID-19 epidemic has accelerated the adoption of flexible work arrangements (FWAs), with 90% of Malaysian employees favouring location and schedule flexibility (Ernst & Young LLP, 2021). This transition motivates a need for a more in-depth examination of the employee's perspectives on adoption of CAIS. However, challenges associated with CAIS adoption, including the lack of government support and concerns about cyber-security, posing a need for further exploration (Awa & Ojiabo, 2016;Marston, Li, Bandyopadhyay, Zhang, & Ghalsasi, 2011).This study extends the DOI-TOE model to include situational constraints such as required skills, resources, and the organisational learning climate, as well as the flexibility of working arrangements (Yoon, Ghosh, & Jeong, 2014;Pitt-Catsouphes & Matz-Costa, 2008). The research aims to bridge gaps in the literature regarding CAIS adoption in Sarawak and address inconsistencies in previous findings. By investigating factors influencing CAIS adoption in Sarawak's audit firms, the study seeks to provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities presented by CAIS adoption within the extended DOI-TOE framework. The overarching goal of this research is to comprehensively examine the factors influencing CAIS adoption rates among audit firms in Sarawak, shedding light on the complexity of this adoption process in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
