Abstract:Taking the artists’ books of Carolee Schneeman as its case study, this article applies feminist theory to data practice, demonstrating how embracing linked open data (LOD) will enable museums and other cultural institutions to increase the visibility of those parts of their collections that do not fit neatly in standard categories.
