Abstract: Objective: To determine whether job desertion and job satisfaction predict organizational commitment among Peruvian regular basic education teachers. Methods: Predictive study in 301 basic education teachers of both sexes in three regions (highlands, coast, and jungle) in Peru, where an intentional non-probabilistic sampling was applied.
