Hulin point out, little evidence exists successfully linking job satisfaction and productivity, so that frequently discussed topic is hard to support as a valid reason for additional research.2 However, Beverly P. Lynch and JoAnn Verdin, in their study of job satisfaction in libraries, indicated a need for more studies that would be ''conducted within the framework of the work itself.
