Juvenile Angiofibroma

Abstract: Juvenile angiofibroma of the nasopharynx is a rare benign tumour which occurs in young males. The purpose of this report is to review juvenile angiofibroma and describe 7 cases treated by surgery during the years 1971–1977. Radical surgical therapy has consistently given positive results and should be regarded as the routine method of treatment. Radiotherapy should only be considered when intracranial tumour spread is present.
