The industrial sector and economic growth are important indicators to determine the success of the development of a region. This analysis aims to determine the influence between economic growth and industrial sectors in Maluku Province. Analysis of the manufacturing industry sector condition in Maluku Province was carried out using descriptive analysis methods with data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency in 2022. The analysis was carried out by observing the trend of the percentage contribution of the industrial sector to the GRP of Maluku Province, compared to the same trend at the national level and Location Quotient (LQ) analysis to determine the position of the industrial sector in Maluku Province. The manufacturing industry sector is the sector that has the highest value contribution compared to other economic sectors to Maluku's GRP since the total output value of the manufacturing industry is the highest. The manufacturing industry sector has a very important role for the economy in Maluku Province, especially in economic growth.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perubahan luas penggunaan lahan permukiman di Kecamatan Kuranji tahun 2007-2016; (2) pola permukiman penduduk di Kecamtan Kuranji tahun 2007 dan 2016; (3) pengaruh pertambahan jumlah penduduk terhadap perkembangan luas permukiman di Kecamatan Kuranji tahun 2007-2016. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan peta penggunaan lahan tahun 2007 dan 2016, data penduduk tahun 2007 dan 2016. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah overlay peta penggunaan lahan tahun 2007-2016, analisis tetangga terdekat dan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Perubahan luas penggunaan lahan permukiman di Kecamtan Kuranji tahun 2007-2016 adalah 226,56 hektar. Kelurahan Kuranji merupakan kelurahan yang paling tinggi tingkat perkembangan luas lahan permukimannya yaitu seluas 58,28 hektar (25,72%) dan Kelurahan Anduring merupakan kelurahan yang paling sedikit tingkat perkembangan luas lahan permukimannya yaitu seluas 9,47 hektar (4,18%), (2) berdasarkan teknik analisis tetangga terdekat diperoleh nilai dengan nilai T = 0,93 (2007) dan nilai T = 0,95 (2016) berarti pola persebaran permukiman di Kecamatan Kuranji Tahun 2007 dan 2016 adalah Acak (Random), (3) pertambahan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan permukiman. Pertambahan jumlah penduduk memiliki pengaruh terhadap variabel perkembangan permukiman sebesar 47,9%.

The rapidly increasing population growth is not accompanied by an adequate amount of land, causing land that should not be designated for settlements to become settlements which in turn causes various environmental problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze criminal law policies in tackling people's behavior towards land conversion which causes environmental problems such as flooding, landslides, garbage and declining quality of clean water. The research method used in this research is normative legal research, the data source used is secondary data obtained through literature study which is then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the study, the social conflict that occurred in Ambon in 1999 led to the division of settlements based on ethnicity, religion, race and inter-group as well as the increasing number of residents while the increasingly narrow land area became a factor causing people to open settlements in areas/land that were not for its purpose. Residential settlements are built in disaster-prone areas such as on the banks of rivers or on the slopes of mountains, residents cut down trees to clear land even though it is a water catchment area and densely populated settlements that are not in accordance with spatial management cause various environmental problems such as floods, landslides , accumulation of garbage and decreased quality of clean water. There is a need for a Criminal Law Policy in overcoming land use changes that can cause complex environmental problems.
