Abstract:In this study, magnetic biosorbent from Spirulina microalgae were employed as adsorbent for Zinc (II) elimination. The adsorbent characteristics were examined employing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR). The consequence of adsorption parameters such as initial pH, contact time, temperature, the dosage of adsorbent, and initial metal ion concentration in the solution was evaluated employing a batch method. The optimal adsorbent for Zn(II) adsorption onto Spiru… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
