Abstract:Craniofacial surgery is a subspecialty in dentistry that deals with congenital and acquired deformities of head, neck, skull, face and jaw and associated structures. Craniosynostosis, craniofacial clefts, cleft lip and palate , teachers collins syndrome are a few typical defects treated by craniofacial surgeons.Craniofacial surgery reconstructs damaged bone and tissue and improves the appearance of disfigured areas of the face and head.
