Knowledge and Awareness on the Usage of Preemptive Analgesics in Third Molar Extraction among Dental Students: A Survey

Abstract: Postoperative pain control after extraction of third molars is important for patients because of the effect of pain symptoms on the healing process and quality of life. The aim of this study was to assess the knowledge and awareness of dental students towards the use of preemptive analgesics in third molar extractions.
