“…The results of our study indicated that certain areas were well-understood by all the participants, such as radiological manifestations of severe pneumonia. This can be attributed to the experience gained during the COVID-19 pandemic, in which healthcare workers became quite familiar with pneumonia-related knowledge ( 19 ). Moreover, respiratory disease training programs have been conducted in Shanghai in the past 3 years ( 13 ), adhering to the guidelines established by the World Health Organization ( 20 ) and the Chinese National Health Commission for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric CAP ( 16 ).…”

“…The available global statistical data underscores the significant ramifications of the virus, both in terms of its widespread incidence and the lamentable loss of human lives. As nations and regions grapple with the manifold challenges presented by this pandemic, it is pertinent to accord due recognition to the pivotal role played by informed knowledge, attitudes, and preventative practices across various demographic strata globally ( Rahman & Sathi, 2020 ; Mahfouz & AlQahtani, 2023 ; Sun et al , 2023 ). While governmental bodies and health agencies have implemented a spectrum of measures aimed at curbing the virus’s dissemination ( Wang et al , 2023 ; Kim et al , 2023 ), encompassing public awareness initiatives ( Yanti et al , 2020 ) and constraints on mobility ( Zhou et al , 2020 ), the efficacy of these interventions is fundamentally contingent upon the willingness of individuals, especially the youth demographic, to embrace and steadfastly adhere to the prescribed behavioural protocols.…”

“…Nevertheless, various factors such as age, educational background, years of experience, and comprehension of AI exert a discernible influence on radiologists’ attitudes and practices. 15 , 17 Moreover, differing perspectives on the application of AI in imaging persist. As the principal users of AI, radiologists’ KAP in relation to AI within medical imaging play a pivotal role in shaping AI’s capacity to capitalize on strengths and mitigate weaknesses in the medical field, thus optimizing its positive influence.…”
