Knowledge Map of Urban Morphology and Thermal Comfort: A Bibliometric Analysis Based on CiteSpace

Abstract: In the context of global climate change, urban morphology is closely related to thermal comfort and contributes to sustainable urban development. Academics started to pay attention to related topics and carried out many studies during the last decades. This paper aims to summarize the research achievements and the development track for future studies. The Web of Science database and CiteSpace were used in this paper to conduct a bibliometric analysis of 556 studies in related fields from 1993 to 2020. Using a … Show more

“…The SVF in the center of the ATHS yard ranges between 0.85-0.94. Thermal comfort refers to "that condition of mind that expresses satisfaction with the thermal environment and is assessed by subjective evaluation [21]. A standard thermal index called PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) can be utilized to assess thermal comfort for a particular space and quantify its worth.…”

“…The duration is not only long but also relatively recent, indicating that the research point of competitive gymnastics tends to be competitive sports and competitive strength in this field in recent years. Clustering analysis: Data ready, click run, (emphasis: Cutting to avoid the loss of information is not used), clustering of keywords, and the clustering results were compared with 《The methodological function of CiteSpace Knowledge map》 illustrated (Q value in [0, 1] interval, Q > 0.3 means that the division of community structure is significant, when S value in 0.7, clustering is convincing, efficient Clustering above 0.5 is generally considered reasonable) [6] and is convincing (Map modularity Q=0.5012 > 0.3, Mean Silhouette =0.8261 > 0.5). In this study, a total of 11 clusters were formed for keywords, and label clusters ranging from 0 to 5 were selected for display.…”

“…In this study, a total of 11 clusters were formed for keywords, and label clusters ranging from 0 to 5 were selected for display. Analysis of hot spot evolution: We can deeply grasp the evolution path of competitive gymnastics research through the line and year of keyword occurrence in time zone atlas [6] (Special note: once the keyword appears, it is fixed to the year of its first occurrence and will not be shown in future studies, instead increasing the size of the "+ "sign). Research path of competitive gymnastics: Competitive gymnastics -Gymnastics -Male and female -Characteristics -Injury -Selection of athletes-Competitive Sports -competitive landscape -dynamics -competitive ability -governance structure-effectway -to complement shortcomings -Significance.…”

“…From previous studies [36][37][38], a fundamental theory can be obtained that (1) a connection exists between the architectural form and the UTCI distribution of the site. From this theory, another inference can be obtained: (2) For a point in space, the UTCI of this point has a connection with the spatial form of the surrounding buildings, and this connection is spatially invariant.…”
