Abstract: En application de la loi de défense sociale en Belgique, l’auteur d’un fait qualifié infraction considéré comme irresponsable fait l’objet d’une mesure d’internement, soit dans une annexe psychiatrique rattachée à une prison, soit dans un établissement de défense sociale prévu à cet effet, soit encore dans un hôpital psychiatrique.
