Introduction. Sex education in Mexico focuses on biological aspects, with traditional teaching-learning strategies, which do not encourage reflection on learning that impacts the care of sexuality, so it is urgent to propose a change so that the student becomes a subject and not an object of your learning. Objective. To report the experiences in developing the innovative methodology through the Maguerez Arch for the teaching and learning ofthe Care of the sexuality of the University Emerging Adult. Method. Qualitative study based on the Arco de Maguerez problematization methodology, developed on 12 Nursing students from 18 to 25 who attended 12 program sessions: “Taking care of my sexuality.” The reports were analyzed by content analysis and technique of the speech. Results. Ac-cording to the five moments of the Maguerez Arch: 1) Observation of reality: ignorance of contraceptive methods and sexually transmitted infections, 2) Identify the key points: An approach to sexuality to the biological aspect and non-invasive care it is part of their sexual life 3) Theorizing the problem: topics to be developed by the students: sexual education, communication, self-esteem, and empowerment, 4) Solution hypothesis: the care and knowledge of their sexuality if it is a priority in their life, 5 ) Reality application: they recognize the right to live sexuality with responsibility and care. Conclusions. The methodology was innovative, motivating, and significant, allowing the student to make conscious decisions regarding the care of their sexuality.

RESUMENLos principales riesgos que se derivan del embarazo adolescente afectan al sexo femenino, creando desigualdades entre las y los adolescentes involucrados en un embarazo a esta temprana edad, evidenciando la necesidad de que la comunicación intervenga como mediadora desde la perspectiva del proceso de construcción social que diferencia a los hombres y las mujeres y dicta sus relaciones con el poder y los recursos. El presente artículo manifiesta la posición de la autora en cuanto a la tríada comunicación-género y prevención del embarazo adolescente. Se hace imprescindible el uso consciente de la comunicación educativa en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la igualdad de deberes y derechos de la mujer y el hombre desde las edades más tempranas como parte de su educación para la sexualidad que ha de tener un efecto preventivo en la aparición de embarazos adolescentes.Palabras clave: Comunicación, identidad de género, embarazo en adolescencia, prevención. ABSTRACTThe main risks resulting from teen pregnancy mostly affect the female teenager, creating inequalities between the couples involved in a pregnancy at this early age, demonstrating the need to intervene as a communication mediator from the perspective of a social construct that differentiates men and women and dictates their links to power and resources. This article expresses the author's position in terms of the -gender, communication and adolescent pregnancy prevention, triad. It is indispensable the conscious use of educational communication in teaching and learning equal rights and duties in women and men from an early age as part of sex education that has to have a preventive effect on the occurrence of teenage pregnancies. INTRODUCCIÓNLa Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) define la adolescencia como la segunda dé-cada de la vida, es decir, desde los 10 a los 19 años. Se estima que para el año 2025 esta cifra llegará a los 2000 millones (1).Existen estudios que reflejan un incremento anual de un 10% de adolescentes que comienzan sus relaciones sexuales a partir de los 12 años (2). A este fenómeno que caracteriza los últimos tiempos se le ha dado en llamar revolución sexual, determinada por la cada vez más temprana iniciación de las relaciones sexuales, debido entre otros factores a * Licenciada en Enfermería, Máster en Atención Integral al Niño.
