Lactobacillus and Its Probiotic Role in the Digestive and Nutritional Processes of Pigs: A Review

Abstract: The activity of a probiotic is dependent on the strain’s ability to confer health benefits to the host through oral consumption of viable cells. The main objective of this study was to carry out a review about the importance of Lactobacillus and its probiotic role in the digestive and nutritional processes of pigs.
