LAM-DED Process for Repair and Maintenance of Cast Iron Components using Metallic Powder Alloys

Abstract: Laser Additive Manufacturing Directed Energy Deposition (LAM-DED) technology is a promising process for the maintenance and repair of ductile cast iron components. LAM-DED can produce high quality results compared to conventional welding processes.
