Laminin 511-E8 Fragment Improves Second-Degree Burn Wound Healing in a Rat Model

Abstract: Background: The rate of re-epithelialization is the primary determinant of the morbidity and mortality in patients with severe burn injuries. Laminin ⍺5β1γ1 (LM511) is an extracellular structural protein that can support epithelial cell adhesion and migration.
