Laparoscopic or Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Treatment of Cervical Cancer

Abstract: Cervical cancer is the most common cause of death in female patients over 45 years of age. Surgical treatment (laparoscopic total hysterectomy and radical hysterectomy plus laparoscopic pelvic lymphadenectomy) is the most curative therapeutic resource in the initial stages (Ia1, Ia2 and Ib1).
