Abstract:Introduction and importance:
The optimal treatment for obstructive left-sided colorectal cancer (OLCC) remains controversial. While open multi-stage operation is accepted widely, proportion of using laparoscopic surgery remains low with the conversion rate to open surgery up to 25%.
