“…In our study no significant difference was found between groups. This finding is similar to the majority of the published studies [12][13][14][15][16][17]. In Zullo et al [9] metaanalysis the mean number of nodes obtained ranged from 8.86 to 23.5.…”

“…This way we found no statistical difference in OS. Most of the RCTs [12,16,17] show the same results, although there are not many studies that evaluate survival and even less for a long period (Tozzi [16] 44 months, Zullo [17] 79 months, Malzoni [12] 38.5 months). Older studies neither show differences in OS: Malur [19] found no differences studyingin 57 patients, Pignotti [20] with a 45 months follow-up obtained 5.3% recurrences in the LPS group and 7.4% in the LPT group.…”

“…By contrast, most studies evaluating minimally invasive treatments for endometrial cancer are small, retrospective studies comparing laparotomy to either RALS or CLS [7][8][9]11,12,[32][33][34][35]. Our group has previously reported on similar outcomes when comparing RALS with CLS in other types of gynecologic cancer [20,21].…”

“…Otro factor importante es la cantidad de ganglios resecados por vía laparoscópica, la cual oscila entre 14 y 18, similar a lo resecado por vía abdominal (16,21,22,24,(43)(44)(45) (Tabla III). Aparentemente la linfadenectomía laparoscópica con ultrasonido lograría un número mayor de ganglios (14 vs 18) y estos serían más fáciles de interpretar por el patólogo (46).…”
