Laryngeal Carcinoid

Abstract: Carcinoid tumors (argentaffinomas, endocrine cell tumours) arise from endocrine cells that form part of the Amine Precursor Uptake and Decarboxylation (APUD) System. 1 Approximately forty different cell types, distributed throughout many organs, share this biosynthetic function.
