Laser-assisted electron scattering on a nano-sphere

Abstract: We investigate the scattering of electrons on a hard sphere in the presence of a laser field of arbitrary intensity. We use spherical Gordon-Volkov states, and we present a novel method for the computation of a key quantity in this theory. We compute and analyse some additional results regarding the total differential scattering cross sections in the case of the weak field limit.
