Laser pulse shape designer for direct-drive inertial confinement fusion implosions

Abstract: Pulse shaping is a powerful tool for mitigating implosion instabilities in directdrive inertial confinement fusion. However, the high-dimensional and nonlinear nature of implosions makes the pulse optimization quite challenging.
