“…In the sanitary district of Lleida most patients with IBD are diagnosed in hospital settings, but vaccines are mainly administered by primary care practitioners and records are kept in the centralized ECAP database. Sometimes, patients do not visit their primary care centre for vaccination, and in other cases, insufficient or confusing information regarding their health status or their treatment is provided: approximately 50% of patients with IBD do not know that they need to be vaccinated against certain diseases [25].
