Learning about the QCD medium using electromagnetic and weak probes

Abstract: Recent theoretical developments concerning radiation of electromagnetic and weak probes in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions are reviewed. These proceedings focus on electromagnetic probes and briefly cover weak probes.
