Abstract: Nonavian reptiles are among the many tetrapod lineages that have secondarily evolved semi‐aquatic and fully aquatic lifestyles. As thermal conformers occupying varying depths of the marine and freshwater environment, reptiles are great models for studying aquatic adaptations.
