Abstract:The influence of light intensity on photo-electrochemical cells (PECs) consisting of an n-type strontium titanate (SrTiO 3 ) photoanode and nickel cathode in potassium hydroxide electrolyte is studied. The band levels of an electrolyte-metalsemiconductor-electrolyte system are presented and the effect of different light intensities on the energy levels is investigated. Photocurrent density, quantum efficiency, and open circuit potential measurements are performed on the processed PECs under different light int… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
