“…Differentiation of neural progenitor cells is also promoted by NIR. The radiation induces the production of ATP, which subsequently activates P2Y receptors for neurite outgrowth (19). Although the molecular mechanisms by which low-energy radiation affects various cellular activities are unclear, accumulating evidence indicates that NIR may be used in multiple clinical treatments (6)(7)(8)(9)(10).…”

“…Несмотря на то, что существует ряд работ, ис-следующих роль длины волны [16,27,55,67,93,95], складывается впечатление, что хотя, вероятно, и су-ществует ее оптимальное значение в каждых опре-деленных условиях, данный параметр не является основным. В конечном счете, хороших результатов можно добиться практически при любой длине вол-ны.…”

“…It was recently demonstrated that not only do ADSCs respond well to external stimuli, including LILI, as a mechanism of inducing increased viability and proliferation, but differentiation into other cell lineages can be achieved with minimal invasive techniques such as careful selection and addition of growth factor combinations. Even in the absence of growth factors, the use of laser irradiation to stimulate differentiation has been shown in Normal Human Neural Progenitor Cells (NHNPCs) in vitro where NHNPCs are not only capable of being sustained by light in the absence of growth factors, but they are also able to differentiate normally as assessed by neurite formation [16]. Our work has focused on the ability of laser irradiation to increase proliferation of ADSCs, maintain their SC character and increase the rate and maintenance of differentiation of ADSCs into smooth muscle cells [17].…”
