Lignin molecular sieving engineering enables high-plateau-capacity hard carbon anodes for sodium-ion batteries

Abstract: Lignin molecules with different polarities are separated through molecular sieve engineering. The hard carbon prepared using acetone-isolated lignin has the largest closed pore volume, which enables a high plateau capacity of 233 mA h g−1.
