Limitações Causadas Pelas Dimensões De Tubetes Sobre O Crescimento E Qualidade De Mudas Clonais De Cafeeiro Conilon

Show more

“…Agricultural technologies for coffee production are available and can allow high levels of productivity. Despite this, these technologies have been used inappropriately aiming to obtain overproductions, making this process unsustainable (DEPONTI, 2001;VERDIN FILHO et al, 2019).Although there are appropriate and adapted technologies for householders to produce specialty coffees, these technologies have not been widespread for them (GREENBERG, 1997;DE MUNER et al, 2019). Sustainability assessment and monitoring standards have been important tools for identifying problems, as well as defining strategies that promote necessary changes to improve the sustainability performance of farms (DE MUNER et al 2019).…”

“…Asexual propagation in conilon coffee is responsible for approximately 90% of its seedlings produced because they present characteristics similar to the mother plants, causing the development of more homogeneous plantations, with desirable features in terms of canopy architecture, establishment of more vigorous productive branches, plants with good productivity, uniform harvesting and resistance to diseases [ 4 , 5 ].…”
