Abstract:Background: Angelica dahurica, belonging to the Apiaceae family, whose dry root is a famous traditional Chinese medicine named as “Bai zhi ”. There are two cultivars (A. dahurica cv. ‘Hangbaizhi’ and A. dahurica cv. ‘Qibaizhi’), which have been domesticated for thousands of years.
