A detailed revision on natural and synthetic glycosylated quinolines, spanning the last 20 years, is presented. Exhaustive descriptions about the state of the art of the synthesis and relevant applications of these glyco‐heterocycles are provided. In addition, an account of the natural products containing this motif and their associated bioactivity data are also outlined. For the sake of consistency, quinolones are also covered as well as hybrid compounds, embodied with linkers between the heterocyclic ring and the carbohydrate fragment.
